Community Outreach
The project will engage local stakeholders and the public through meetings, online surveys, and on-site intercept surveys in the study area. Input gathered will help shape trail alternatives and ensure the corridor supports safe, convenient walking and cycling connections.
STAKEHOLDER MEETINGS
The project team met with Clyde Companies and Utah DNR Springville hatchery staff. Collaboration will continue throughout the project to develop a feasible plan.
INTERCEPT SURVEYS
The team conducted intercept surveys gather quick, on the spot feedback from people who are actively using or traveling through the study area.
A total of eighteen 5-8 minute interviews were conducted.
RESULTS
Highest priority: Safety
Respondents showed overwhelming support for safety through a multi-use path that offers comfort and distance from roadways.
Second priority: Directness
Direct routes to destinations scored highest among Springville respondents.
